PC crashes after replacing hardware

Before replacing any components my PC kept crashing without warning showing either a black screen or a light blue screen with horizontal lines. The advice I received suggested that it was my wireless adaptor that had no drivers yet for Windows 7.
Today I replaced that with a TP Link PCI wireless adaptor that temp runs on vista drivers as stated on it's website. I have also upgraded my graphics card from ATI HD3450 to HD4650. My PC has just crashed again. My cursor changed from an arrow to a vertical line then the screen frooze.
Has anyone any idea what the trouble might be?
Thanks. Robert.

Hey.

Your psu is probably too weak. Do you know which you have?

I got my PC last December and on the original spec the PSU is shown as 550W. Regarding the BSOD help I cannot find anything in the widows/minidump folder can you advise me how to turn it on if that's what you have to do?
Thanks.

It's on by default, so we may as well just wait until it happens again and take it from there. If you're using a Windows "found" from other than Microsoft being the official source, therein lies the problem.
