    Admin rights not recognized

I have a new Win 7 home-built desktop, 64 bit Home Premium. I have BSOD crash reports and I can't open the crash dump files. When I try to do so, the message says I need to have admin account. But I set the machine up and I'm the only administrator. Where do I turn to remedy this problem? I've checked the tutorials and as far as I can tell, my admin account is active--it's just ignored when I try to open the dump file.

    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hi Brian and welcome

Try dragging the dmp file to your desktop. If it works use these https://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...d-problem.html
    to upload it to us

    Thanks

I have copied them to my desktop but if I try to open them I get a message 'access denied.' Can I zip a file that I can't open to send to you?
