BlackSOD
First I want to state that I know that BlackSOD is popular issue and that there are dozens of posts with solutions. Thing is that I tried so many different ideas to solve it, and until now nothing helped, I am fighting with my PC for almost a week now.
Ok now my specs.
CPU: C2D E6850 3GHz
Motherboard: Asus P5N32-E SLI
RAM:Kingston HyperX DDR2 2x 1GB 1066MHz
VGA:Asus EN8800GTS TOP
HDD:Seagate 500 GB Barracuda 7200.11
Driver:LiteOn dvdrw LH-29A1L
OS:Win 7 Pro EN 64
On Monday when I got back to my place I just saw my PC turned on. The BIOS was opened and the time was wrong there. I've also found out that when I was out the electricity was cut of for some reasons. That happened before and there were no problems. But this time when I exit BIOS and rebooted PC I saw this lovely screen Windows Error Recovery, stating that "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause ..."
Now I had two options so I've choose to launch startup repair. After that I just saw loading bar and bang, BlackSOD. Waited for some time then rebooted and took other option, start Win normally. The logo and "Starting Windows" appeared and after time turned into black screen. Found out in Net that this is textbook example of BSOD in Win7 after the force shutdown. The solution was to boot system from install disc or from WinPE LiveCD. Tried first idea it failed, again loading windows files then logo and stuck. WinPe also didn't brought any good as windows boot manager informed me that it failed to start with status number: 0xc000000f. When I reburned Winpe with some different things it only showed message "1. FD 1.44MB System Type-(00) Non-System disk or disk error Replace...".
I've also tried to restore default values to BIOS, but without results. I used my LiveCD Knoppix and it worked, I had full access to all file on my HDD. Here comes the question is it possible to repair my OS, I have used it for half of a year and had no problems at all. There are two partitions on ma drive (one for a system and one for files ) so nothing should happen if I format system one,but I really wouldn't like to reinstal all that stuff again.
Sorry for such a long post but this problem seems to be complex. Thx for help.
