ntoskrnl.exe causing BSOD

Ya. Uninstall the AVG and see how much it helps.

Sorry a complete newbie. Just cracked my box open and pulled out my new computer and started to install programs and get it up to par and BOOM it happened got the blue death screen. I was just checking out the forum and did attach my dump files to this. Just bummed out. The computer boots up normally and fast and I opened up a bunch of programs and don't get a crash. It just comes when it wants. Once a day. Please anybody help. Thanks for the help in advance. Thank you.

I have encountered the same error four times in one week. I used a sysdump reader and it points to the ntoskrnl.exe as well. I have been on the phone with HP for several hours doing different things to try and fix this. First thought was RAM but those have been tested, reseated, etc and dont seem to be the issue. All system tests performed passed. Not 5 minutes after getting off the phone with them the blue screen of death appeared.

I am having the same BSOD on my win 7 x64 pc with ntoskrnl.exe and I'm suspecting it to be a memory issue.

I have had the manufacturer replace the motherboard, video card, and Hard Drive.

I previously did a system restore and a factory restore and got a BSOD mid way through factory restore.
