Thanks for the tips, I will enable history on firefox (I'm not a privacy nut, just not big on googles search cookies and the like) and wait for 3.5.7 - I was excited to see 3.5.6 out thinking that they would have modded up the importance of the fix but apparently not in this case!

Either way, I'll reenable history and see if that takes care of it, sounds like it's the best shot I've heard so far!

    Thanks again,

Firefox 3.6 beta (revision 5) has been released with the fix included.

Firefox web browser | Help us test the latest beta

I've been using 3.6 for a while now and it's pretty stable.
Actually it's more stable for me than IE8.

Well, unfortunately that didn't work for me, I've changed firefox and I've continued to get the errors, even when firefox has not been open the entire login session. Any other ideas on what may be causing the problems?

    Thanks again,

Not to try to resurrect an old thread, but the problem has never gone away, and I can't seem to figure out what is causing it for the life of me.

I've attached a dump of one of the errors, seemingly the faulting module was MSVCRT.dll on a memory move, I've seen other sources, but this is by far the most common one.

Has anyone else seen this? I don't have WinRAR installed, FF is 3.5.7 and both private browsing and never remember history aren't on either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

This is your standard shameless bump - I'm desperate here. :)
