Logon Process has failed to create the security options dialog." Error Message
My Hpdv9000 will frequently freeze up to the point where control alt delete doesn't work and eventually the screen will go black and that error message will come up, forcing me to do a hard reboot.
This happens about 5-6 times a day, depending on what I'm doing but I've seen it freeze when I'm not doing anything on my computer.
Ok here's what I've tried and they didn't work:
- changed my AV from microsoft security essentials to avast, then again to panda.
- checked my reliability history and the error never shows up, instead it just says that there was an unexpected shutdown. NO OTHER ERRORS
- I've ran a diagnostics on my hard drive, it said it was NTFS whatever that means and so I let windows attempt to repair it. - it still freezes
I've joined these forums in a final attempt to fix this problem. Also one way that it will freeze everytime is if I try to let windows give me an experience index score. The process will go on until it says disk transfer access rate or whatever the last thing is that it grades. When the bar doesn't move at this point, I simply click cancel and it freezes. Control Alt Delete fails here and I get the mentioned error.
PLEASE HELP ANYBODY. I will be eternally in your debt if you help me fix this problem. Any additional info you need, I will gladly supply.
