    BSOD / Not Shutting down

Hi Guys, been using this forum for sometime now but only today did I find I needed further help....

My Media PC as mentioned in the subject has a problem shutting down. Well to be honest it mainly has an issue with 'Logging off' where it sticks for ages, then the odd occasion it goes further and comes up with 'Shutting Down' but then sticks at doing this for ages, in most cases I get bored and switch the PC off at the wall!! Something I know I shouldn't do. Then on its last occurance it came up with a Blue screen saying amounst other things BSOD.

Now I'm not that computer savvy, so be gentle with the explanations, your assistance will be greatly appricated.

I have tried to attach the two files it dumped and warned me of after it rebooted, but the uploader says files are invalid! one is a .dmp file, the other a sysdata any ideas??

    Thank you in advance.

Merry Christmas BTW and Happy New Year

Dump reports 0x9f driver power state failure

    Probably caused by arusb_lhx.sys

Are you using a usb wireless device, netgear possibly? Think this is giving you the problem

Sorry i was wrong not specifically net gear think this must be driver for your d-link
    This driver is dated 14/01/08
I would try updating this driver to the latest version (from manufacturers site not win update)

Also another driver in the dump that is quite old & should be updated that could be related
    jswpslwfx.sys , 01/09/07 , jump start wireless filter
