Hi!

I'm new here. I have a problem, that's why I register here.
My PC always restarts instead of shutdown on Win7 x64 6.1.7600. I have no idea why is it doing it. I use Windows 7 x64, on an other partition I have Win 7 x86, which works well (yet).

MacDrive (MDFSYSNT.SYS) is cited as the problem. Please uninstall it and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then download a new copy that's Win7 compatible and install that.

Also, Please update or remove these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager. Please use the following instructions to locate the most current drivers:
How To Find Updated Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

Here's the older drivers:

Thank you very much! Uninstalling MacDrive solved the problem. But I don't know why was it doing that. On the official site of the software they wrote it as Win 7 compatible (both x86 and x64).

Anyway I don't use that program so much, so unistalling it is not a big problem, maybe I'll find and other solution, and my MacDrive was only a trial version.

Thanks again!
