Unhandled exception...

"...has occurred in your application. If you click Continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately".

I'm sure I'm not the first to see this error message. What is the fix here?

Thanks.

What app? Is this an old (pre Vista) app? First thing I'd try is uninstall/reinstall the app. or a repair install if that's an option.

There is no reference to a particular app. The message appears on the desktop when I boot up. I click Continue and all seems to be ok. The message does not appear again in the session. I am running a very new PC with Win 7 64 bit.

Use MSCONFIG to disable your startups one-by-one until you find the one that eliminates this error.
Then reset MSCONFIG to normal startup and we'll work at removing the bugger.
