    7 64bits freezing

    So

    It's me again =)

Previouslly I solved ALL my halting errors, i guess my computer has not be froze for around a month BUT

Three days ago i bought a Microsoft webcam ; )
    Lifecam VX-500

Well, my halting has come back and i can not not-associate with the cam.

It's (aparently) not the normal bsod halt, my audio freezes in a loop (pretty much like was commom in win95), and when i log on win again i get no error/dump error, so I think i pretty much do not have a error log.

Anyone has one clue to a possible solution?

are all your devices looking happy in device manager with no conflicts etc ?

have you had a dig around in your control panel\sounds to see if your lifecam has installed a second mike that might be causing confusion for windows ?

    Yes

All devices look happy and sassy Sr.

Also the cam installed no mic (it's not a mic model microsoft model link )

I have pretty much solved prior to cam installed any conflicts around. To be true I had so many of them (all due drivers) that i was fearing something like this goin' on when buying hardware for 7 (i actually need also to get a tv card wich i haven't due to fear).

    Any other tip ? =.=

    whats your audio device ?

maybe fill out your system spec in the bottom left of any of your posts which might help us looking for clues

check in performance information and tools\advanced for clues and see if theres any error reports in Event Log ?

sorry i forgot the log information
    I noticed right before:
"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." "source:kernel power"

    I got this error:
"\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\cdrbsdrv.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver."

    And same for yesterday halt.

with a google search on "cdrbsdrv.SYS" It appears to be a filter driver and causes issues for other users, possibly installed by using B's Recorder GOLD7 or by DELL in one of there driver packs, what we need to do is try and remove it safely...........

the best method i can see is posted here by "DrinkLyeAndDie"
    To Remove the filter:
Create a backup of your registry
Download ImgBurn (freeware) here: The Official ImgBurn Website.
Start ImgBurn and go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order....
Select "cdrbsdrv". Click Remove Selected Filter. Click OK.
    Reboot
let us know if that works ?
