Can't open Admin\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt

I've been having problems with windows 7 and I thought there might be something wrong with the windows 7 system files so I i did a system file checker scan. After the scan I tried to view the CBS.log file with sfcdetails.txt but it said "FINDSTR: Cannot open Admin\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

Is there another way to view the CBS.log file?

Of the CBS.log\CBS.log, the last one should open with Notepad. The first one you can open anyhow.

Yeah definately, I think I'll just do a repair install, the CBS.log file is really extensive and weeding out the actual problem would be difficlult

I wonder whether anybody here has a quick method of sifting out those files that are actually damaged. Otherwise the log is really useless. Maybe we should start a new thread asking that question.

Btw: Next time you want to open the CBS.log, copy it to another folder (away from C:\Windows). Then it will open - with Notepad.
