NT Kernel & System freezing

Hello!

Since 2 months my NT Kernel & System freezes randomly(has 60KB but uses 25% CPU on Quadcore) for about 1 second every 2 seconds.
You can start prozesses, use the mouse everything normal but is "lags" for a second every two seconds.
Even if you shut the machine down, it freezes thorugh the shutdoewn process, and shutdown will last about 6 miutes.
It can happen once a day, or once a week, you can't provoke it.
So i decided to switch from my Windows 7 x64 RC to a bought home premium.
Same problem.
I deinstalled some drivers, but it still comes (and goes after reboot).
I haven't made any changes to my hardware.

Any suggestions?

Mike

P.S.: I have also adplus logs

Hi and welcome

we need you to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows logs>application tab

You need to look for errors (they have red in the left column) that say app hang, app crash, etc. when you find them use the snipping tool (typs snipping in searc) to make a screenshot

Then using the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip) in the reply form

See pics

Let us know if you need help

That does seem to be the source. Any chance you could translate? It has something to do withh VSS backup and restore. It happens for a short duration at set intervals

Since volume shadow is a function of backup, a work around would be to turn off the scheduled backups
