System logging off after idling issues

I'm having issues with Windows 7 logging off after idling for a short amount of time. The problem popped up a few days ago rather unexpectedly since I haven't installed any new programs or done any configuration changes recently. I don't have a screen saver enabled and my power settings are set to "never" for monitor and sleep mode. I also disabled password upon waking up option in the power management menu. I don't know what other settings could cause such a problem, help would be appreciated!
