Kernal Power error 41 in event log

I recently finished my first budget build, could not get post but found out it was something I did not have plugged in.

After installing Windows 7 64bit I was running pretty smooth with all 4GB of RAM, but after updating the recent drivers, since I did not have any sound I started getting the lovely BSOD.

I have tried booting with each stick of RAM, Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, I ran Memory diagnostic which came back with hardware issues, I have read tons of forums and guides that say tons of different things. So before I send back my RAM I would like a second opinion (third or forth...as many as it takes) to get this fixed.

I have had people tell me to:
    -Increase power to my Northbridge
    -Update bios
-Flatten it again and try with just Windows 7 drivers
-Try different RAM or my RAM in a different system
    -RUN stress tests

I will try and get my logs and dumps if needed but I just want to find out whats going on before I get a RMA for my RAM

    Thanks in advance

Just out of curiosity, what kind of HDD(s) are you using? I'm assuming SATA. If this is the case, can you tell me which channels it/they are on and whether or not they are set to master/slave?
