Windows 7: The problem grows.

The problem grows.

So I had a thread yesterday explaining that starting Wednesday I had downloaded and installed various drivers and software that came with my HP laptop. Later that night my computer started freezing from time to time while online but it was nothing that a ctrl-alt-delete couldn't fix. I came on here and got some help, much obliged to those two individuals, who convinced me to restore my system to a few days ago and then slowly reinstall the stuff starting with the graphics card drivers.

So I still got a couple freezes after putting on everything but the suspect fingerprint scanner. I then pulled off everything one by one in reverse order until I only had the GC driver and a driver for my laptop's mouse which had been working prior to the installation but was a bit glitchy. These two things are the important ones, the hp software I can care less about at this point.

So with that in mind, and only these two things on the system, Late last night my computer crashed while online, watching a youtube video and on another forum. I mention youtube because my computer had frozen on youtube prior to the crash. Upon start up I got a blue screen with a ton of text and it crashed again. Upon the second start up I got back in normally and uninstalled the graphics card driver, hello fuzzy screen, and am now wondering how I can successfully get the graphics card driver up without creating problems with 7. I'm on a 64bit system by the way.

If you need more info just ask. I have to leave for class in about and hour and a half but I just can't wait any longer I'd like to start getting this resolved.

okay that sounds pretty nuts, I guess I will start with reinstalling and updating all the drivers which originally came with my system. About eh overclock, the crash did come after long usage but some of the freezes occurred soon after start up. Thanks for the help. I'll start updating after class and hopefully won't get any more blue screens.
