Dump while playing WMP12 after a duration of about 1 hr. Also, BSOD while adjusting the volume from the Systray Icon yesterday with the same message.

So I suspect it being audio? not sure, I had turned off HDMI in BIOS a week ago and then after the BSOD today I turned it back on. But, came here to find a fix.

I tried to upload the .dmp file but it would take.

thank you

What error did it give you when you tried to upload the dump files?

no error.

browse for file, hit the upload and no file showed in the window.

the bios on the board was corrupted.

asus M4A78L-M returned, refunded, bought a different board.

asus M4A785T-M/CSM

finished updating drivers.

time to test.

thanks, if I get another BSOD I hope your system will take it next time. I don't know what the problem was. I attempted 3 times.

How large was the file - there's a pretty small limit on what you can upload.
The alternative is to upload the dump file to a free file-hosting service (I can't download from RapidShare anymore - so I don't recommend it) and post the link here.
