    Random BSOD "7f"

A month ago I upgraded my computer, adding new hard drive, mobo and processor, stuck windows 7 64bit on it. Other hard drive runs 32bit XP,although I don't use it.

Only since I came back to my university house, I keep getting BSOD randomly. I can make any links from what I do. They occur about once every six hours.

Running AVG and ZoneAlarm if that helps.

    Please help

    Hi and welcome to SF

Just had a look at your dump files and i believe the problem is based around your network drivers, NETIO.sys is flagged as causing the problems, please update all network drivers and see if this improves system stability

When updating drivers where possible dont use device manager update driver function, check out your what hardware you got and then visit manufacturers website and obtain latest driver for your specific product, if your using onboard network then this will be mobo manufacturer site or if network card visit their site
Heres the link for your mobo drivers page

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I installed the drivers that were on the website about an hour or so ago. There has been no problems so far. I will use my pc alot for the next few hours to see if I have any problems.

    Thanks for the help

    However...

I just had another BSOD, unfortunately it still happens.

    File attached.

I noticed MS Toredo Tunneling Adapter in Device manager shows error "Device cannot start code10"

Programs installed on the first date of problems are acrobat reader and Microsoft Silverlight, whatever that does.

Zone alarm seems to cause a lot of probs for some people might not be the cause but i recommend removing it til we sort this prob, firewall can often be the prob for this kind of error try it and see how you go, run mse for the time being see if it improves system stability

    Ok, done that now

In the end after some alot of BSOD episodes this morning, I decided to go back to restore point the day before it started. Luckily there was one the day before. Now I have done a system restore and put on the drivers like before it is working fine.

    Cheers
