BSOD whenever I try to download iTunes

    Hi all

New here so pardon me for my lack of protocol and manners. I received an iPod for Christmas from my parents however whenever I attempt to download iTunes 9, I get a BSOD. Below is some of the information I was able to gather:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 2057
    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 77
    BCP1: 00000001
    BCP2: 00000000
    BCP3: 00000000
    BCP4: 8874FC70
    OS Version: 6_0_6001
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1
Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini012610-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Jeffrey\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-156905-0.sysdata.xml
    C:\Users\Jeffrey\AppData\Local\Temp\WER8F24.tmp.version.txt

Don't know if that helps but anything anyone can tell me would be much obliged...it is the only thing that causes the computer to crash! I am thinking maybe their is an issue of compatibility.

    Hi Demarcs, Welcome to SF,

The Dump file is just a shortcut please copy the Dump file to Desktop and Zip it from there and attach it.

    Hope this helps,

Sorry to be a nuisance...but it seems that it still is not working for me.
Do I have any other options?
