    regular crashes

I installed windows 7 ultimate about 2 weeks ago and am getting regular crashes on my computer. The thing is it happens with different programs or combination of programs running each time.

I'll be doing whatever and then the computer will completely freeze and if I was watching video or listening to music the audio plays the same microsecond over and over and over.

ctrl+alt+del doesn't work. The only option is to hard reboot.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue? I've input my hardware specs into my profile if that is necessary.

    Hi and welcome

In order to find the cuase we are going to have to do some digging. Lets start by looking in event viewer
type eventvwr in search>lindows logs>application tab

You are looing for critical errors(they have red in the hand column) that say app hang, app crash, etc

When you find them usw the builting snipping tool (type snipping in search) to make a screenshot of them.

Finally use the attachment icon (shaped like a paper clip) on the reply form to upload them.

    See pics

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply - didn't get email notification so that's why I'm checking in late (will fix that now)

Anyhow I had three crashes in the last 2 hours, however my most recent critical error according to event viewer is from 2 days ago.

    screenshot attached.

    Thank you for your help

Uninstall Adobe AIR and see if that fixes things.
    Don't reinstall until you're sure.

Uninstalling Adobe Air didn't make a difference. Still getting complete freezes on this system.

    Hello Createsean,

I guess it might the Out-dated drivers. Could post us the MSINFO32

Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type "msinfo32 /nfo C:\Users\Public\Desktop\TEST.NFO\" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Desktop directory to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.

    Good Luck,
    Captain

    Capt. Jack,

I've attached the nfo in a zip file. Interestingly today it's only crashed twice in the past 7 hours, which is a great improvement over hourly crashes.
