Blue screen error once every morning

Hi there. I have just recently bought a custom built pc.

Every morning since the day i bought it when i switch it on i get the blue screen error. Now the curious thing here is that it only happens after the computer has been switched off for an extended period. Like say 4-5 hours(hence why it happens every morning). If i turned my computer off right now and turned it back on in 10 minutes nothing happens. It starts up perfectly fine. Its got me real confused. And so far i have seen three different error messages.

One was Page fault in non paged area.

The other was : memory management

And i forget what the other one said but it was something got to do with read only memory.

Ive updated all my drivers and the problem persists.

Any ideas?

By the way here are the specs of my computer just in case it helps

Windows 7 Home 64 bit
i5-750
Gigabyte ga-h55m-ud2h
Corsair 4gb DDR3 ram
GTX 260

Okay this is the same problem I have what is this all about?

I have another system using the same motherboard with a similar problem. If I leave the PC off for a few days and switch on I will sometimes get a blue screen just as the desktop is loading with a memory management message.

I also seem to get some kind of crash when I leave the PC and return to it after 30-40 mins. The machine has rebooted and I see a 'recovered from an unexpected shutdown' dialog.

If the PC has been on for a while it is rock solid. I can run memtest+ and prime95 without any problems. All restarts ok.

I did think it was linked to the power supply i.e cold power supply having problems before it 'warmed up' so I've used a new power supply. Still seems to be bluescreening.

I have just joined in an attempt to shed some light on this problem.

I look look into uploading the coredump etc.

I have spent a few hours searching on this site. Seems alot of poeple with this motherboard have similar problems. very interesting.

I don't know if anyone is still interested in this problem but it had been irritating me relentlessly since I bought this motherboard (Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H, i5-650, Corsair 4Gb RAM) at the start of this year. I tried everything to stop it having a BSOD once every day on the first power-up. I changed every component, unplugged everything and forcibly removed all my hair. Honestly I thought it was the worst PC I'd ever had and I was about to throw the whole thing in the bin and start again with a Mac.

Anyway...fixed it now:

It's all in the BIOS:

Just set the voltages manually:
CPU Vcore 1.2V
QPI/VTT 1.1V
DRAM 1.5V

I've set the memory timings manually as well as per RAM spec (in my case 9/9/9/24/2T)

And Bob's your uncle (well my uncle anyway).

I am also running EasyTune6 but I don't think this makes any difference as it doesn't load-up until after you would have got a BSOD anyway. Since doing all this, I have not had a blue screen for a whole month compared to pretty much every day or every other day. The MB is obviously just incapable of setting itself correctly.

Hope this helps someone stave off baldness for a little longer!
