Welcome!
Try opening Task Manager and ending half the processes. Make note of which ones, and then try to shutdown.
If it works, we can determine which application is causing the issue. If not, try ending the other half. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

No problem, just quit those processes before you start shutting down. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

follow all the steps i said on the first post t'ill MEMORY MANAGEMENT,right clic on it and point your mouse on NEW and choose DWORD VALUE {32 bits} key, then will open the key,on the key you write--> "ClearPageFileAtShutdown" without quotes, then clic on the white area and you're done, close your registry and restart your system. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP OS WIN,XP,7,VISTA,SERVER CPU DualCore Intel Pentium D 925, 3000 MHz Motherboard Asus P5LP-LE (Leonite) Memory 3072 MB (DDR2 SDRAM) Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE (256 MB) Sound Card Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio Monitor(s) Displays 19", 1024x768 Screen Resolution 1024x768 Hard Drives WDC WD2500AAKS-00L9A0
