Why my computer can't power up?

Hello everyone! I bought a Lenovo PC two years ago but hadn't used it since the last year. Then I found I even can't power it up a few days ago. Who can tell me the reason? Thank you!

Windows 7 Professional x64

Welcome Jake!

Has it been plugged in all this time? Could it have received a surge or something?

When you press the power button, can you hear anything, or see any lights at all?

Have you tried another power cord and electrical outlet?

Look at the power cord of the cable that connects to your CPU... it should be 4 PIN... check whether any pin is broken or not!!!!!!!!!!

Shut down computer, remove all power sources, hold down power button

I was recently corrected in a post of mine that this does not actually do anything unless one removes the 3 volt...

Computer gets power, shuts off, gets power, repeats, never boots
When I got home from work tonight, my Win7 desktop appeared to be asleep, which is normal. I hit the power button to wake, it, walked away, and when I came back, it was not up as I'd have expected. I looked more closely and something really weird was happening. The fan would turn on and the...
