    windows 7 blue screen of death


    my computer just recently crashed and came up with the clue screen of death
    i attached a copy of the dum file and am hoping someone coud look at it and tell me whats wrong
    i entered safe mode and deleted the newest upidates that seemed to do the trick for now but i dont know if theres a different problem

    Dump is blaming this driver, dump_wmimmc.sys
    Seems to be related to gameguard located here, C:\ijji\ENGLISH\AVA\Binaries\GameGuard\dump_wmimmc.sys
    Try updating this game or temp removing it to see if it helps

    It crashed again so I didn't fix it an I'm only 16 that page was confusing any further help is appreciated

    I completely deleted and uninstalled AVA and it still crashed any other advice?

    i have a copy of the windows 7 install cd could i just reinstall it?
    and if so would i keep my data?

    Yes you could reinstall with the disk but lets have a look at the dumps and see if we can fix it first

    This dump is exactly the same, blaming the same driver, eventhough you have uninstalled the game it often leaves files behind like saved games and preferences and in your case drivers i would recommend manually deleting these folders as the driver still exists on your system, retain any saved games if you wish to keep them, they can be added back at a later date

    Or alternatively locate the driver specified above and change the file extension to .bak to stop it from loading
