That 12v (if even semi-accurately being reported by the BIOS), is way out of spec. It's extremely low.

This will definitely lead to random shutdowns and difficulty restarting the pc.

TBH, I have never heard of Aglier. I couldn't find any specs about your current PSU. I can only assume it's 'budget' PSU?

Do you plan to upgrade any component ie Video card, overclock the CPU etc?

If not, then with your current specs a good quality 450w+ will suffice.

Corsair HX/TX series, Antec Earthwatts, Thermaltake Toughpower series, Seasonic are just a few of the better brand names off the top of my head.

It also depends on whether you want modular or non-modular cabling.

It's not so much the overall wattage that counts, but how many amps the 12v rail supplies. The higher the amps, the better, as the 12v powers the motherboard, CPU, video card etc. overall wattage is useless if the 12v rail is underpowered.

Single or multi 12v rails are fine. The only difference is that multi 12v rails are 'separated' to add up to a 'single 12v output'

If you do plan to upgrade to a more powerful video card etc, then up to 850w would be a good investment.

now I`m testing the 500W PSU, but CPU-Z +12V remains the same 9.86v to 9.94v

there is any chance of maybe other components are bad?, maybe motherboard?

It could possibly be a faulty sensor.

Check to see if there is a BIOS update available for your board that may, or may not address the issue.

I decided to test it with:
Everest +V12 = 12.4V (seems to be ok)

i have not tested 1200w PSU, but i think the results will be the same with everest.

There is any chance of faulty motherboard?

Do you mean you updated your BIOS or it already was the latest?

    12v looks a lot better.

Odd result though, considering it's supposed to be reading the same sensor as HWmonitor.

You could also check in the BIOS itself to see what the reading is.

Have you had any crashes / issues restarting with the 500w installed yet?

    Bios already was the lastest.

no crashes or issues since i installed the 500w, old PSU was causing the problem.

Thank you very much for helping me out with this problem.

Hello guys, i`m back to this thread because the 500W Psu stopped working 1 month after installation, i guess it was not enough W + Amp on rail 12+ for my specs.

so i decided to take a look at the brands smarteyeball recommended me, i could only found Corsair tx 850w, Thermaltake tr2 rx 850W and Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875w here at my country.

wich one do you recommend me? considering i just need a stable psu and enough W + amps for future upgrades, i really dont care about cable management.

Tr2 rx its 47$ cheaper than Corsair and this one 50$ cheaper than Toughpower XT.

based on some random forums Tr2 rx 850w its not that good, a lot of people complain about fails after some days or months...

(i`m going to make some calls tomorrow to check for more Psu models, but i really don`t think i`m going to find something new)

    Thanks, i`ll be waiting answers.
