Windows Explorer has stopped working! Urgent

Hello all ! Im new to the forum and Windows 7 OS. As you can see by the title, my problem is this:

I had my computer sucessfully working with Windows 7 for like 1-2 months. 3 days ago I had to shutdown my computer the fastest way I could so I pressed the power button untill it was off ( the worst way to turn off your pc). At that moment I was running multiple tasks like Windows Live Messenger, Steam, Ventrilo and S4League from alaplaya which is a game that requires allot of "power" from your computer. After that whenever I try to boot my computer, I cant even acess to my desktop because I'm always getting the error "Windows Explorer has stopped working." I really need help on this because I tryed everything I saw on the Internet. My windows 7 build is the 7600.
If you need anything on my hardware please tell :S I really want to fix this because I actually like Win7 aside from compability problems.

I don't think I can do both of these. Because I can't acess Control Panel since Windows Explorer doesn't answer. And I don't think I have restore point, don't know why! :S

can you boot into safemode w/ networking without the crash? After the error if you click something does it restart or just sit there? If it just sits there with no icons and what not, you can you press ctrl alt del for task manager then just start a new task "explorer.exe" and see what happens.

I can boot on safemode w/ network yes. The error still happens and it just sits there for ever! I also tryed starting a new task "explorer.exe" but after like 5-10 secs stops answering, once again. :S I have tried doing "sfc /scannow" as administrator and disabling CPEI. No improving :S

ok try opening control panel the same way. Login, pass the error. ctrl alt del to open task manager. start new task and type in control panel. This should open your control panel to enable you to create a 2nd account.

You can try repairing the os or trying a restore point as well.

Actually I have same problem --- well almost, kind of ... maybe. Though it probably has something to do with the software I have installed which mess up explorer.exe. I have had the same problem with XP, Vista and now with Windows 7.

    The problem could be ...
    -Deamon tools
    -Some codec packs
    -7-Zip

Normally have to problem when right clicking file. And normally the explorer.exe only crashes once, and when u restart it, everything runs smooth ....

OK I fixed it but don't know how! I made a new account user but then I remember to try one more time shutting down explorer.exe task and open a new task "explorer.exe" just to try. This after disabling CPEI.Now it is fixed, don't know what was the solution, the task or the new user because I'm in the old user. But the problem is fixed You can close the thread now (: Im soo happy! 8D
