Right click Command Prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt), choose Run as administrator.

Welcome to the Se7en Forums! sebasss

If you are logged onto the admin account you simply bring up the Start menu and type the "sfc /scannow" command in at the Run command line there with the 7 dvd in the optical drive. The system file checker may prompt for the disk if any system files are found damaged or missing.

You can also go to the Start>All Programs>Accessories and right click on the command prompt accessories to select "run as administrator" there with an elevated command prompt to start the system tool. It's important that you also leave a one character space between the "sfc" and "/scannow" not "sfc/scannow" when typing the command in. It should be typed as "sfc /scannow". The backslash acts as a switch there.
