    Freeze when usually playing games.

Hello everyone here at Win7 Forums! I've been lurking around looking for a way to fix this...

Every now and then when I start to play a game for a big (CSS/BF2/L4D/Gmod) Anything, really. My computer starts to freeze up, and skip it's audio. No BSOD's, no black screens, but just freezing.

My system specs are entered, so i shouldn't need to post them.

I really wish I could get some help on this as it's driving me insane!

Make sure your chipset is up to date and temperatures are not overheating. If you are overclocking, return all settings back to default clock speeds.

The majority of the time, complete system freezes as described above come down to it being a RAM issue.

Not sure this will help, but I have pretty good PCs and I play pretty high graphic ones. Before playing, I go to Task Manager and shut down all MY (User) apps except taskmgr.exe and explorer.exe. They come right back after a reboot. It would work as well to make a stripped down user account for the game only and any aps that game uses.
