BSOD 0x0000003b.. having hard time diagnosing

    hi!

thanks in advance for any support. this problem is driving me bonkers.

im getting a BSOD everytime i hit record in Ableton Live.. i dont know how to read the .dmp files. the 'check for solutions' after restart does nothing. i imagine its a driver issue, though i cant be sure.

does the .dmp file signal any driver issues?

    thanks again
    nik

The was caused by your MotuUsb64.sys driver which is almost three years old.

    You need to update it
and run a system file check
typ cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

    If you are overclocking STOP

wow.. thanks! ive had so many problems with MOTU products. returned 3 interfaces, now this.

the BSOD no longer occurs, though ableton live still crashes.

ableton creates dmp files at crashes also.

    does this say anything helpful?

    thanks again for last time.

ive been getting a new BSOD, i did system check, everything is normal.

ive attached the DMP from the crash(es). its got to be another driver i imagine.

    thanks again!

Driver Verifier is enabled (this is a Driver Verifier enabled memory dump). Turn off Driver Verifier ASAP!
It blames tpkd.sys - a component of your InterLok(R) software manufactured by PACE Anti-Piracy, Inc
    Welcome to PACE Anti-Piracy

Additionally, your MotuBus64.sys driver is still outdated: Thu Sep 21 13:58:27 2006
Either update the driver to a 2009 or later version - or remove it from your system
