    Internet Caused BSOD

Hi there, I keep getting a rondom BSOD when running internet explorer 8 on Windows 7 (32 Bit) It seems to be mainly affected by Facebook, and Youtube. Some other sites have similar effects but none that are reporducable. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello Texnical, Welcome to SF,

The Dump file basically doesn't have any info in it. Basically i found some old drivers and some drivers that are not registered properly. Update the drivers which i mentions if your Overclocking please stop. Since you said the BSOD is happening most while browsing remove the drivers for your Network card and download the drivers from Manufactures website NOT from Windows update. Make sure your BIOS has the latest firmware. So try the steps i mentioned if that didn't work post us back we can run the Driver verifier to find the exact problem.

Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic

Also i would recommend to run System Integrity Checker
Start > Run > CMD >Right Click and Run as administrator > SFC/ SCANNOW

    Drivers to update

    Code:
    adfs.SYS Thu Aug 14 20:27:15 2008 - Adobe
    RTKVHDA.sys Wed Jul 16 16:21:03 2008 - Realtek Driver

Drivers that are not functioning properly

    Code:
    volmgrx.sys unavailable (00000000)
    vmstorfl.sys unavailable (00000000)
    parvdm.sys unavailable (00000000)
    Null.SYS unavailable (00000000)
    msrpc.sys unavailable (00000000)
    Fs_Rec.sys unavailable (00000000)
    cdd.dll unavailable (00000000)
    PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (4e)
Typically caused by drivers passing bad memory descriptor lists (ie: calling
MmUnlockPages twice with the same list, etc). If a kernel debugger is
    available get the stack trace.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 00000099, A PTE or PFN is corrupt
    Arg2: 00070aaf, page frame number
    Arg3: 00000002, current page state
    Arg4: 00000006, 0
    Hope this helps,
    Captain

Well I have messed around with this a fair bit now, and Finally went back and reloaded windoews 7 now. I have since had 2 failures, both with only the BSOD flashing very quickly and then the system restarts. I have attached both of the .dmp files for review. And just for the record, I am not overclocking. The system on now running with the OS and AVG. nothing else has been installed. Any help is appreciated.

the two dmps were caused by hardware. specifically ataport.sys, and halmacpi.dll

    I would
    re-install ataport
    run a system file check
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow)

    Let us know the results

If I am not mistaken ataport.sys is an IDE driver, in which case I am not using. Secondly, what is the best way to reinstall just those two drivers, and will it matter that I am using a shuttle case.

Well now I can hardly do anything without it crashing. I have attached the last 2 dumps, hopefully they can help you further.
