    2X2gb ram = bsod

this has gone on a while now. i originally brought 2 ramsticks, one of them worked on its own, but the other didnt. i sent it back, brought a new one, and i'm still having problems...
the bsods that come up are 'IRQL_NOT_OR_LESS_EQUA'L, 'MEMORY_MANAGEMENT' and 'page fault in non paged area'

also certain programs dont run properly, such as avast or internet explorer (FF works fine) and the computer comes up with errors for various dlls.

    I'm running:
    asus m4n72-e motherboard
AMD athlon II X2 250 processor
    2 X 9500gt graphics cards
on a windows 7 ultimate 64 bit OS

running the one ramstick is fine, but i would really like to be able to run them both without these errors..
I've attached my latest dump file

ps: i have updated my bios to the latest found (december)
    thanks in advance

what make and model please ?

and are you overclocking I have your cpu coming up as an AMD clocked at 3ghz ?

uninstall Asus probe the driver is old and likely to cause issues

yes i do, tried both positions with my original batch, currently they are in slots 2 and 4.

the make and model of the ramsticks are:samsung k4t1go44qa-zce7
one stick works fine, just dont see why they both cant work at the same time.

the cpu was clocked at 3ghz automatically.
also i notice i installed that today to see if it would help... shouldnt have much effect on the ram

    Hi Alexa

The cause of this one is still memory. when you buy memory you have to buy a matched pair. Even if the single stick has the same exact specs it may not work In this case they dont. I strongly suspect either the ram or a bad ram slot

Usual causes: Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS

    I would
download memtestx86 and run for 5 passes. You may have to do it 1 stick at a time but first do it with all memory in.

    Run a system file check
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc scannow

    If you are overclocking STOP

If you need help let us know
