    Explorer constantly crashing

Hi, I'm having some major issues with my Windows 7 explorer as it keeps crashing on me, I'll explain in a little more detail.

I'm running Windows 7 64 Bit and have been for quite a while, I did encounter this problem before and I got that sick of it I ended up re-formatting and doing a clean install, this was fine until yesterday when my explorer started giving me grief again and keeps crashing when I either try to open a folder on my desktop or right clicking to copy or paste anything. I've got the error is gives me in the event viewer here if that will help.

Faulting application name: Explorer.EXE, version: 6.1.7600.16450, time stamp: 0x4aebab8d
Faulting module name: nvcpl.cpl_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4abff312
    Exception code: 0xc000041d
    Fault offset: 0x00000000100062b0
    Faulting process id: 0x34c
    Faulting application start time: 0x01cab09103aab9a6
    Faulting application path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
    Faulting module path: nvcpl.cpl
    Report Id: 4bd07aa4-1c89-11df-8d37-00241d2f884f

This isn't a constant issue as in it doesn't happen literally everytime I open a folder or right click but it is becoming more frequent. If anyone needs anymore information to help me solve this very annoying issue let me know and I shall get the required information.

Edit - I've just tried the SFC ScanNow command and it brough back no reported issues so I thought I'd post that here aswell.

I've been checking the event viewer and found that 75% of the errors logged contain the file TosBtShell.dll as the Faulting Module Path so I've nailed tha tone down to my Toshiba Bluetooth Stack thus I've un-installed the drivers for it and used the one from windows itself, we shall see if it solves the problem.

    Hello Welcome to SF,

I guess its an issue with Context Menu. Download ShellExView

The rule is to disable non-Microsoft context menu handlers *one-by-one* and verify if the problem is solved. If disabling one does not solve the problem, undo the disabled item and disable the next non-Microsoft handler. Do the same until the problem is solved and finally identify the culprit. Scroll right to see the Company Name column in ShellExView.

    Good Luck,
    Captain

Just thought I'd post an update on the situation I was having, like I said in my last post I found out most of the errors from the event viewer mentioned the TosBtShell.dll which was the drivers connected to my Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, I got rid of those and let Windows use the drivers that were built in and I've had absolutely no issues since. Thanks for the advice though Capt, I'm just glad I could sort it out without too much effort messing around with things I don't understand yet.
