    Computer Bluescreens a lot

Hi, I'm new here at Sevenforums and I was wondering if you could help me. I'm getting a lot of bluescreens on my computer. My computer had vista and bluescreened then, so I hoped that upgrading to Seven would stop it. It did for about two weeks, but now the constant bluescreens are back. Today I've already gotten 3 and I'm so sick and tired of them. Sometimes they are so bad, it says a core file is damaged and I have to system restore. Is there any help you can give me? I have the 3 minidumps from today.

    Hello Welcome to SF,

I guess multiple issues are going on. Lets start with basics. If your Overclocking please stop. Make sure your BIOS has the latest firmware. If you using any Antivirus or Firewall uninstall it and see whether that make any difference.

Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic

Also i would recommend to run System Integrity Checker
Start > Run > CMD >Right Click and Run as administrator > SFC/ SCANNOW
    Drivers to be Updated

    Code:

    Lycosa.sys 0x47912b83 1/19/2008 4:13:15 AM
    lirsgt.sys 0x4857cd07 6/17/2008 8:11:11 PM
    Bad Drivers

    Code:
    msrpc.sys 0x00000000
    Fs_Rec.sys 0x00000000
    vmstorfl.sys 0x00000000
    Null.SYS 0x00000000
    Msfs.SYS 0x00000000
    win32k.sys 0x00000000
    TSDDD.dll 0x00000000
    cdd.dll 0x00000000
    ATMFD.DLL 0x00000000
    Hope this helps,
    Captain

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I've already ran a Memory Diagnostic before and it passed 100%. I'm running the SFC/scannow.

For antivirus I had Avast! and I uninstalled it and I downloaded AVG a few days ago, should I uninstall that too?

For BIOS, on the HP website theres an update, but I cannot update because it's for Vista only.

For the bad drives do I just delete the files?

Those of the System driver which you don't wanna delete it might fix by the SFC Scan. Yes uninstall AVG see whether that makes any difference. Lets try these steps

Hey Jack, my computer was fine for a few days, then today, it started up again. I downloaded Avira antivirus and it was fine. Then today, my computer bluesceened 3 times and after each bluescreen, my computer would beep when I tried to start it up. This happened before, then stopped, now its doing it again.
