Win 7 BSOD after going to sleep

    Hello,

I seem to consistently get a crash when trying to come out of sleep mode. The bug is always DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE tied to the ntoskrnl.exe, which could mean anything.

This is a fairly new install of Win 7 and all the drivers have been updated.

I've attached the latest .dmp file. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

    Hello Welcome to SF,

I guess the culprit here is a component of your Intel(R) PRO/1000 Gigabit Networking Adapter e1y62x64.sys and an OS component srv.sys. Download the latest driver from Intel's website remove the driver from Device Manager then reboot and install them. If possible just reset to BIOS to factory settings.Uninstall any third party Antivirus or Firewall see whether that makes any difference.

Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic

Also i would recommend to run System Integrity Checker

Start > Run > CMD >Right Click and Run as administrator >
    SFC/ SCANNOW

    Still crashing

OK, so I updated the drivers and ran all the checks you suggested (which came back clean). I still get a crash after sleep mode.

I'm not sure what to do about the srv.sys problem that you mentioned. Any suggestions on that?

Thanks. So this is the Intel 5300 Wifi driver. I do have the latest one, but I noticed on the Intel community forum that this is an issue for many people on a variety of platforms:

    NETw5s64.sys keeps on giving me...

As of yesterday, there is still no fix for this from Intel.
