Having a problem with WINDOWS 7 [x64]

Hi,there.
I have decided to write here about my problem with Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi3670 problem. Im writing here because support says its nothing to do with them that the hardware is working 100% fine.

The Problem:
Anytime i try to run a video, listen to music, play a game i get system sttutering problem. It freezes and then lets go, freezez and lets go... and like that all the time. It just came back from the service and they didnt find any problems. And im like its Quad Core FFS it shouldnt do that!


System Spec.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel QuadCore Q9000
4GB RAM
2x 500GB HDD
NVIDIA Hybrid Graphic GT130M/Intel 4 series

Want to know more detail let me know.
I do appriciate any help because this problem is driving me mad.

dont know if thats any usefull but MY CPU score on 3dMark06 is 0,5-1 FPS CPU SCORE: 2856

Overal 3dMark Score is 4778
Dont really know how to compare it

Go into your power settings in control panel and tell me what setting is active. If not 'high performance' than switch to that and see if that solves the problem.

Some computers' "cpu throttling' features built into the motherboard and bios seem to have an issue as to what I like to call "choking" when set to minimal or balanced when it comes time to demand power from the cpu. I'm not really sure why it happens, it could be a number of things from a simple bios update, to problematic audio/video drivers being fully compatible with Windows 7.

Well it defo did help! I can even play new games in HIGH detail 1920x1080 while before i couldnt even play them in 1280x720 on low! THANKS VERY MUCH !
