action centre message

Hi all,
I am always getting a message from the Action centre...."Windows security centre is turned off". I turn it on but at next boot, same message. I have "User access control" and "Network access protection" turned off. Is this the reason I am getting this annoying popup and is there any way to stop it?
Thanks

Yep turn UAC back on and save it. go into security after and see if the save took.

Is this a clean install or did you upgrade from a previoous OS?

Thanks for your reply Ken,
I want the UAC turned off...I don't need constant reminders of opening programs etc so I had a fiddle around and found a disable option. When I rebooted....walaah no action centre pop up!

You may want to try this, it's safer that way, and no UAC prompts: Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create
