    Strange boot/chkdsk freezes

Hi, I have been unable to boot the last couple of days due to a scheduled chkdsk rutine. The chkdsk rutine can complete but freezes if cancelled and after completion. All I get is a black screen that states that is complete and the drive is fine. My other problem is that if i boot from my w7 dvd all i get is another black screen with just my mouse.. this is bloody annoying..
I am running a raid-0 array between two hds if that helps with helping me

I had a some what similar problem, except that my PC would boot, but my mouse and keyboard didn't work. Does it at least show the "Starting Windows" part?

yeah it does with full animation. Then it completes the CHKDSK and halts after finishing.. annoying..
I managed to get to a boot menu by booting from my w7 dvd. But I am not that software "minded" so tried booting with safemode, last working config and something that sounded like restore with last restore point.
Btw I am running windows in danish not that it should matter?
another thing is that step 4 and 5 seem very slow, is that normal? my compined hdd is 640gb'ish

Well, what I did to fix it is perform is system restore. The way I did the system restore is when it would tell me Windows 7 is loading, I just shut the computer off, turned it back on and from there I did the system restore. Try that, but I'm not completely sure if it is safe for the computer. I'm not responsible for anything that happens. That's all I can do for you, sorry.
