Win 7 Ult. Multiple crashes same BCCode 124 PLEASE HELP

Hello new to the forums. I have been having a problem with crashes on my system with the BCCode 124. The crashes are pretty frequent almost three a day whether browsing on the internet or playing fallout 3 lol. The computer was built by a friend for me this past Jan. Any help will be appreciated, thanks guys.

You could use this Tool to find out CPUID. The best way to reset back to Normal is to remove the CMOS battery for few minitues and put it back or just reset the BIOS to default settings.

I had same 124 code - i THINK I solved by swiching off stepping in the bios - i also used driver genius pro for all the missing chipset drivers . It seems that my quad core was a bit messed up with this speed steping feature. I wish you the best of luck

Okay so ran PC wizard and it gave me a "Hardware Registers Dump" Text. I'm getting sick of this BSOD. Any help is appreciated thanks

Okay i just updated all my drivers with genius pro and disabled speed stepping and they both didnt solve the problem
