Video hardware error

Im running windows 7 ultimate 64bit and am having trouble with it crashing. I'm usually just browsing through files or on the internet and it will lock up requiring a hard shutdown. I checked my crash logs and it says:

I have reinstalled my video cards drivers and even rolled back to other versions but still have this problem. any suggestions?

The STOP 0x117 error is similar to the STOP 0x116 error - and you use similar methods to troubleshoot it ( http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tml#post280172 )

Unplug the system, open the case and check to ensure that the coolers are clear of lint/hairballs.
Plug the system in to check that all the fans are working (KEEP HANDS OUT OF THE CASE!!!)
Remove the current video drivers, download the latest drivers from Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and install them.

If this still doesn't help, then try another video card.
