why dont i get any mini dumps?

I have been getting random freeze on computer where everything will just working and stay that way until i restart my computer. I tried to find my mini dump files on
C:/ system/ windows. i found it but it has little lock symbol next to folder and there is nothing in it...

by the way i get

event id 41

i cant really tell "what" is making this happen... it never did this to me before! it started about 3 weeks ago and does not even get worse. its very constant on freezing... very annoying!
