USB Mouse sometimes not detected on boot
new build PC, and noticed that sometimes when I boot Windows 7 the mouse is not detected on the USB rear port. I moved to a new port when Windows 7 was loaded and it worked fine, detected etc. But serveral boots later it happened again. I rebooted and all was fine. Again several loads later and windows had no mouse detected. I navigated using the keyboard to the hardware and devices screen in CP and found sure enough a but ! next to the USB mouse. I did a trouble shoot and it re-installed the driver. Now so far no probs but is this a problem?
I know it might be hardware (new pc build an all) but wondered if there was a general USB legacy issue.
Mouse is an older Microsoft intelli point USB one. Had no problems with it on older XP computer for over 4years.
