    Crash to Client-Please Help

    Hello

Hubby built me a new computer and it has windows7 64 bit professional on it. It runs a Nivada G-Force 9800 graphic's card I believe and an ASUS motherboard. Not sure what the rest of the settings are. I play Everquest 2. Every time I play I crash to client. Sometimes as soon as I log in other time 10-20 minutes into the game. When I use my daughters computer that has vista I don't crash at all. I am hoping and praying that someone out there can help me, since I am not getting any help on the EQ2 forums. I don't know if it is EQ2's stuff causeing the issue or windows 7 or what it is. I am very frustrated and have spent better part of 2 weeks trying to fix this. All my drivers are current, my bios is current. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game over and over again. Even the games introduction movie will not run in full screen (sound will run but get a black screen) but if I minimize the screen the introduction movie play's fine. I have un-pinned every thing from my task bar. I run the game as adminastor and in windows xp mode service pack 2. Please help I am so frustrated and in tears you are all my last hope.

    Thank you for your time

    Ariel,
Using the "Snipping Tool" could you take a couple of snapshots for us,
    And you ask of what?

WIN key (that's the one with the funny looking wavy flag on it)
    type MSINFO32.EXE
    hit Enter key
Of interest to us is the System Summary section and the Display section.
I've included a snapshot of those from my laptop so that you'll know what will be of use to us.

Looking forward to seeing the two requested snapshots.

I just assume that article tells you to use the Snipping Tool to make your pictures.
    If not, then
WIN key | type Snipping Tool| Right-Click on Snipping Tool in the resulting list | click on Pin to TaskBar | rt-click again and click on Pin to Start Menu | now you will have more options as to how to start the Snipping Tool

Run MsInfo32.exe, select the desired item, click on your Snipping Tool icon in either TaskBar or StartMenu.

If the instructions didn't show you how to use the Snipping Tool, then click on Help in the Snipping Tool menu bar.

Welcome to computers. Your hubby and children will be proud of you and you'll be able to impress your friends with your technical expertise.
