    BSOD

    Info is attached...

This has been happening for a while, I recently reinstalled the OS, but problems are still happening. Any help would be appreciated. Built the computer myself 2 years ago or so, was running fine up until a month or two back.

STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUALUsual causes: Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software. Use Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.)

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000038, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
     bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002aeeaf7, address which referenced memory

    Your Probable cause:
    Memory or Drivers

    Solution, In order shown
    Download memtest86 and test RAM
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored. If you do have other BSODs after repairs additional work may have to be done on drivers.
Uninstall your anti virus and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials.
    Scan with your Anti Virus
    SFC /scannow
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

    How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.

If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
Remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.

The only thing to be aware of, if the memory tests come back OK, is to enable driver verifier to do some special pool and pool tracking. I've seen bad drivers cause this by passing in bad handle information, and verifier would catch it. It does look like bad hardware, but there's always that outside chance that it's not

Thank you Binary for the rep and kind words. Take your time. The forum is open 24 x 7 and someone will always be here to help you. I will monitor the account and be here for you when I am on line. As I, and the poster after me, mentioned additional work may have to be done on drivers if BSODs continue. Good luck
