Hello, *Sorry if I make any mistakes or grammar mistakes here* I just want to start off by saying, that I like Windows 7, and it's a great OP / Windows to use, BUT, after having it for couple of weeks, something went wrong. After just talking to my friends on this IM Program, AIM, the sounds disappear, and Windows 7 freezes sometimes, but goes back to normal. [ Example : Freezes for 5 seconds, then no freezes for about 10 seconds ] *Yeah I guessed the seconds of calculation* and so on, I tried to play music on after encountering this, using Windows Media Player to play music, but nothing came out to play, no volume. *Yes my speakers were up, and no, I did it not put on mute!* And I mostly wonder myself, is Windows 7 buggy-ing a lot sometimes?

Sorry you have to read this much.

Every-time I turn on my computer, log in, it's normal, and it's ok. Couple minutes later, it does the problem, freezing up for about 3 to 5 seconds, than heads back to normal for about 8 to 10 seconds, and all the sounds / volume disappear. So can anyone or can anything solve this problem?
-No Viruses found
-Scanned Once
-Restarted, yes
-Etc?
[ I hope I'm not the only one with this problem ]

There are so many things it could be. Can you give us your system specs?
Network setup?

have you looked in event viewer (type evenvwr in search). You need to go to the windows log>application tab and look for critical errors (they have red in the left hand column) that say app hang, app crash, or any thing relevant to the problem.

When nyou find then note the event ID and source code and tell us what they are.

Let us know if y ou need help
