Original thread here: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...rash-help.html

Unfortunately, The Windows Debugging Tools aren't able to access symbols for your operating system files (in particular NTOSKRNL.EXE / NTKRNLMP.EXE / NTKRNLPA.EXE / NTKRPAMP.EXE) from the Microsoft Symbol Server - so that makes debugging them difficult if not impossible.

Please do the following (this will not affect the analysis of the current files - but it may help later files that are acquired):
- activate/validate the Windows installation at Genuine Microsoft Software
- run sfc.exe /scannow to replace any problem files
- open a support incident with Microsoft to see if they can fix the missing symbols issue ( Windows 7 Solution Center )
- If that doesn't fix it, then wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows
- don't use "leaked"/torrent builds

So, let's try it the old-fashioned way....

The dump files blame your video drivers (nvlddmkm.sys) and the built in Windows mouse driver ( i8042prt.sys )

1 - try another mouse - preferably a USB one
2 - Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and download the latest video driver for your system
Then uninstall the current video driver using Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
Then install the freshly downloaded video driver package and see if that stops the BSOD's

Also, please remove or update these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager.
Please use the following instructions to locate the most currently available drivers to replace the one's that you uninstall OR remove:
Quote:
How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html

Here's the older drivers. Please pay particular attention to any dated 2007 or earlier:
Code:
ADIHdAud.sys Tue Jan 16 04:16:25 2007 - SoundMAX Digital HD Audio Driver - http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html#ADIHdAud.sys
ASACPI.sys Thu Aug 12 22:52:52 2004 - a known BSOD cause in Windows 7, it's the Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver - http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html#ASACPI.sys
ISODrive.sys Fri Apr 13 05:42:14 2007 - ISO CD-ROM Device Driver - ISODrive - EZB Systems, Inc - http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html#ISODrive.sys
nvm62x32.sys Fri Oct 17 17:00:39 2008 - nVidia Etherenet Networking Driver - http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html#nvm62x32.sys
If this doesn't fix things we can run Driver Verifier - but I don't know if the results will be valid due to the missing symbols (but think that it will be).

Summary of the BSOD's:
