Unexplained BSOD Win7 Ult 64bit

Hi Guys, I am going out of mind here with BSOD and I have gone as far as I can alone. I have decent computer skills
The system which i recently built either locks-up or restarts then showing unexpected shutdown message periodically. This does not seem to occur for any particular reason, however on more than a couple of occasions it has been during file movements, but other times i am moving larger files and nothing happens...so I ruled this out.

I know it is best to be specific about what you are doing when the bsod occurs, however, it has happens with no obvious pattern.

The Specs are:
OS: Win7 64Bit
MB: GA P55A UD3R
CPU: Core i7 860
RAM: Kingston Gen 4gb 1333mhz
GPU: Asus nVidia 8800GT
HD: 2 1tg Seagate Drives in raid 1 config, and 1 Samsung 750gb
PS: Antec eath watts 500
CASE: Antec Sonata III
cooling: two 120mm fans, and one cpu fan.
**no overclocking, no tweaking, no mods.

I have attached the mini dump file, i tried reading it but I could not follow it. the dump file is just 100mb even when rar'd so I could not attach it.

I have stress tested all hardware (everest, burn it in, memtest 86, seagate tools, prime), done clean installs, replaced the motherboard with an identical unit, changed out harddrives, power supplies but still this bsod comes back. ALso the BSOD may come during a stress test and it may with equal consitency not appear then. I have downloaded the latest drivers and program updates and still BSOD comes back. The only time I am free of it is when I install from my 32 bit ultimate disk.

Any ideas? If there is some details that I have forgotten to mentioned and need, sorry, just let me know. THANKS!!! I am slowly going crazy with this.

Your .dmp file points to your gfx driver nvlddmkm.sys as the cause of your crash.. remove your nvidia driver, download the latest from Nvidias' site and reinstall...Hope this helps..

Unfortunately the update did not resolve this issue. Both yesterday afternoon and today the computer frooze and would not respond to any commands.

Yesterday, I left the pc on and when I returned it had turned off the monitor, so I could not see what had happened at the time it frooze. I had to reset again.

Today, i had just clicked on IE on the taskbar and it locked up. I had outlook open, a few windows explorer windows open, nothing else I can think of.

Upon restarting the computer is very slow booting into windows. This might be due to intel raid checking itselfs....?

I have gone over event viewer, but other than telling me windows shutdown unexpectantly, there is nothing to go on. There is also no new mini dump file. There is however one 713mb memory.dmp file, but I have no idea how to open that.

After updating as suggested and still geting the bsod, i employed verifier. When I went standard settings, then all, the computer would just keep restarting, then i narrowed it down and got bsod.

The verifier photo shows the 15 enabled when the bsod occured (they are not ticked in the photo).
I have also attached a photo taken of the bsod.
Also, i have attached the 2 latest bsod minidumps.

Any one still interested in looking over this problem with me??? Please, I have really hit a dead end and have no idea how to further debug. I have updated all drivers... the only thing to note is that I have been working in safe mode now successfully for a day.

I have a new finding to add, and it is definitely an odd one!

[Pre note: the above bluescreen and minidump files only occured by me using verifier. I eventually narrowed it down to afd.sys as the trouble, but the only time I see this bsod and issue is when using verifier.]

My computer frooze again despite other measures I have taken, even resorting to contacting microsoft.

I decided to on a whim see if I could still find and access my computer via the network, and to my utter amuzement I could.

I can, through directing by ip in "run" (ie \\192.168.1.8) find and then access folders. I was even able to copy files to the computer, small (14mb) to large files (1.4gb), without any problems. I don't know what this means, but I hope someone might know what this is. Oh, and as a side note, I have teamviewer on that computer but I could not connect to it (though I might not have had it on before the screen frooze). I can successfully PING this system too...??
