Window 7 Crashes NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE

My windows 7 always crashes every time I open BitTorrent and download something (it has no viruses or so..)

I don't understand why it crashes but every time I open my BitTorrent BSOD flashed up, I don't know if it was a coincidence or it has something to do with BitTorrent.

Please help me guys, its really irritating.

The probable cause is your Realtek Ethernet driver Rt64win7.sys, I would download a fresh copy and install it.

Additionally I would run a system file check
to do that type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/")

Let us know if you need help.

we need your computer specs. Mfr, model, and lan driver. You can find some of the info by typing dxdiag in search.

Failing that you can go to the realtek web page and find the correct driver for your computer.

A better title for this thread would have been nice :)

I've got the same kind of issue. uTorrent 2.0 started it, but BitSpirit did the same thing. I've read on the uT forums that uT <2 (versions less than 2 have not reported any issues. Still, why would it happen with BitSpirit too? EDIT: Others have reported that if they install uT FIRST, then any other torrent program they try causes the same BSODs or crashes.

I get a crash though, no BSOD. I have no dump to put up for you guys.

I've updated my Realtek drivers to the latest, it didn't help.

Just now i've tried uninstalling the ipv6 stuff, because it was "!" in the devices thingy.

I've been going for about 30mins so far... but i bet it won't last.

BTW, just skimming through other posts here and elsewhere (i've been googling for two days).

Most claims are that the network card/drivers are the cause. But VERY few people have said that updating the drivers have fixed their problem.

    Recusant,
I suggest you would be better advised to start your own thread re your problem - rather than tag along on drew's thread.
