    I would try this. Stick your Windows 7 CD into the drive and select the option when it first turns on to display boot devices or something like that. Boot to the Windows 7 CD and run the startup repair.

    If that doesn't work, I would try removing one of the sticks of RAM, provided you have two installed and see if that helps.

    First take a peek in your BIOS and do as Dwarf suggested. Make sure the hard drive is recognized in the BIOS.

    Make sure you have either a repair disc or installation DVD.

    System Repair Disc - Create

    Then mark your Windows partition as active.

    Partition - Mark as Active

    Finally run a startup repair.

    This isn't RAM. It's a software problem.

    If the repair does not work, slave your hard drive, backup and reformat.
