    Yet another crash


    Hi,
    So i was playing Runescape, fishing for sardines when all of a suddon, it just shuts down. I turn on my laptop and it goes into the automatic repair thing. It goes through the things, and then it comes up with the dialog box that says its a corrupted boot file and 3 repair actions have failed. I reboot and it boots in. Here is the dump files and the dialog box and my system info form DXDIAG.

    The probable cause of this crash was ntkrnlmp.exe which is part of your OS.
    It would be a good idea to run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
    Go to search - right click to run as Administrator - type in sfc /scannow. [Make sure you have a space between sfc and / ]
    Should you be overclocking STOP.
    Please report back with your results.

    Hi,
    I assume you mean search on the start menu? I right click, and no admin, i put in the command and cmd line flash for a second and nothing happens,

    lets try that again

    type cmd in the search field and hit enter

    right click the bar on the top and click "run as admin" (can also be accessed in start>all programs>accessories>cmd)

    type sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/")

    Let us know i fyou need help with any of this
