windows explorer crash

    windows explorer crash


    every time i go into my folder that is filled with videos windows explorer stops
    respond and then restarts closing the folder in the process

    Have a look at the folders properties > security tab whether "system" has all permissions.

    it crashs now even without the folder being open Wtf

    Have a look here Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Reliability Monitor to find more details about the crash. The events should be marked with a red circled x.

    i have installed divx real player today
    so in total i have 7 video player installed on my computer

    Although this was posted for XP, it may give you some ideas 0xC0000005 Access Violation Error
