    BSODs

    I've been trying to figure this out for a while now. I've done a clean install. Took out my sound card, tried just one hdd, stood on my ear and whistled "Yanky doodle dandy" and still have BSODs. Updated drivers etc etc ad nausem. I've run memtest a bazillion times. In fact, I've even gone so far as to RMA all my parts and even bought a new PSU. And still BSODs haunt me. Anyways, here's a look at the dump files, maybe someone here can help me nail this down. It only happens when I'm gaming and it's really random. Some days I can goes hours on end and nary and issue. Then like tonight, er last night, I get 3 in a row, then nothing for a couple hours. I'm about to go Office Space on it...Oh and it's always a system service exception. And nothing's oc'd on it.

    Hello Reedii69 Welcome to SF !!

    I guess it's an issue with Memory. Run the Diagnostic mentioned the below links.

    There is a Bugcheck code 0xc0000005 possible your Antivirus / Firewall can also be the reason. Uninstall it completely. Use the Removal Tool just Google it you'll find it.

    There is a Asus Utililty which is well known for problems which is dated 2005
    ASACPI.sys Mon Mar 28 08:00:36 2005

    Here
    MB_WIN7_ATK.ZIP ASACPI.sys download and install it.

    Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic
    Also i would recommend to run System Integrity Checker
    Start > Run > CMD >Right Click and Run as administrator > SFC/ SCANNOW

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *

    Thank you Cpt. I will do all that and post in a couple days if there's an issue again.

    memtest came up with errors right off the bat. not sure why it didn't pick it up before ... And everything else you suggested came up fine. Anyways, I'll be RMA'ing that tomorrow and will report any issues if they arise afterwards. Thanks again for the info and help!
